Punta Mita Surf Lessons and Rentals
Surf Lessons
So you want to learn how to surf? Or perhaps you would you already know how but are looking to take your surfing to the next level? If you’re looking to take a lesson or two while staying at Hotel La Quinta del Sol, we can organize an expert instructor to take you out to one of the area’s great surf breaks at your convenience. The variety of breaks in Punta de Mita make it the ideal place to learn how to surf.
Beginners will learn fundamental skills and will be standing up and riding waves by the end of their session. Intermediates will be taken to the best break for their skill level and will be given instruction based on their own specific needs.
Lessons include:
• 2-3 hours of instructed surf
• Transportation to and from surf breaks by boat (note: lesson may be at the break directly in front of La Quinta del Sol, depending on conditions)
• Rental of surfboard, leash and rash guard
• Wetsuit tops for guests that get cold easily
